Jboss for Solaris 8, Sun Processor

Sorry for boot guy question, but I work for a govt agency who pays a DoD developer big $$, and is being told by said developer that we cannot use JBOSS, as it is not supported by solaris/not supported on Solaris. Is this truth? Trying to save taxpayers big $$ by not buying the "logical" choice.

No this is not true. There are several installations of JBoss running on Solaris, and JBG does support JBoss on Solaris.

Our company (Korvac International) has been running our payment gateway using JBoss on Solaris 8.

So far no problem has been encountered related to JBoss.
