Version 2

[10:06pm] balunasj: Ilya had hoped to make this meeting, but it looks like he could not.  I know he has been sick

    [10:06pm] balunasj: nbelaevski: Hi Niick

    [10:07pm] serogers: OK

[10:07pm] balunasj: serogers: Unfortuantly that was one of the main reasons for this meeting.

    [10:07pm] serogers: Yes

[10:07pm] balunasj: but perhaps nbelaevski can share some info on push, and tree updates.

[10:08pm] balunasj: nbelaevski: Like we talked about in the team meeting, about wiki updates.  But I know most are waiting for Ilya to return.

[10:08pm] balunasj: nbelaevski: he is out rest of this week right - any word on next?

[10:09pm] nbelaevski: balunasj: as Ilya is still not in office, I can start with these updates, but need to complete M5 tasks first

[10:09pm] balunasj: nbelaevski: agreed - those are priority

[10:10pm] nbelaevski: balunasj: don't know about his next week

[10:10pm] balunasj: nbelaevski: ok, np - I'll ping him.  Hope it is nothing serious

[10:10pm] balunasj: serogers: I'm assuming you have enough to keep you busy through the holiday.  Or not?

[10:11pm] nbelaevski: called Ilya... he had some issues with calendar - he'll join us soon

[10:11pm] serogers: balunasj: Yes, I believe I have enough

[10:11pm] balunasj: nbelaevski: oh ok - thanks

[10:12pm] balunasj: serogers: If you are short we could start talking about wiki layout, and design for migration area

[10:12pm] ilya_shaikovsky joined the chat room.

    [10:12pm] ilya_shaikovsky: hello all!

[10:13pm] serogers: balunasj: I think I will have enough, but we can discuss that if you wish

    [10:13pm] serogers: ilya_shaikovsky: Hi Ilya

[10:13pm] balunasj: ilya_shaikovsky: Hi Ilya - hope you are feeling better

[10:13pm] balunasj: serogers: lets hold off on that - pending other work.

    [10:13pm] serogers: Sure

[10:14pm] ilya_shaikovsky: balunasj, thanks.. believe will see the guys on Monday

    [10:14pm] balunasj: ilya_shaikovsky:

    [10:14pm] nbelaevski: ilya_shaikovsky: cool

[10:15pm] balunasj: So ilya_shaikovsky serogers has enough to keep busy for now, but we'll need to discuss wiki updates

[10:15pm] balunasj: ilya_shaikovsky: on push, tree, drag-n-drop etc...

[10:15pm] balunasj: so that he can get started on those.

[10:16pm] balunasj: imo the main thing is push, because of how much that has changed

[10:16pm] balunasj: and setup can be a bit complicated.

[10:17pm] balunasj: ilya_shaikovsky: Likely best to try to do a review of work needed before the holidays, once you are back.

[10:18pm] balunasj: ilya_shaikovsky: does that seem reasonable?

[10:18pm] ilya_shaikovsky: I'd like to work on that(push) with Nick's review and suggestions so think better to start when return to office

[10:19pm] balunasj: ilya_shaikovsky: yup - certainly all of this is after you return to office

[10:20pm] balunasj: ilya_shaikovsky: We were also just discussing that if there is time serogers ilya_shaikovsky and me could start working on migration wiki updates and Sean may have time to assist.

    [10:20pm] ilya_shaikovsky: sounds good..

[10:21pm] balunasj: serogers: anything to add?  Or other items to bring up?

    [10:21pm] serogers: Just one thing

    [10:21pm] serogers: RFPL-966

[10:21pm] jbossbot: jira [RFPL-966] Technical Reviews for Milestone 5 [Open, Major, Sean Rogers] https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RFPL-966

[10:22pm] serogers: I have linked to the review Jiras

[10:22pm] serogers: Do I assign them to the main developers for each component, or assign them all to Ilya?

[10:23pm] balunasj: serogers: Personally I would like developer to take a first look, then Ilya, and/or I to do final review

[10:23pm] nbelaevski: balunasj: serogers: sounds good

[10:23pm] serogers: OK, so assign to main developer initially

[10:24pm] balunasj: serogers: I'll add a note to review and make sure there is movement on them.

[10:24pm] ilya_shaikovsky: in that case as I get we waiting while the developer will look through and Sean will apply all his comments and then looking to corrected doc?

    [10:24pm] serogers: Thanks

[10:25pm] serogers: That sounds good, ilya_shaikovsky

    [10:25pm] ilya_shaikovsky: ok

[10:25pm] ilya_shaikovsky: fine with that especially for that iteration

    [10:25pm] balunasj: excellent - anything else ?

[10:26pm] nbelaevski: nothing from my side

[10:26pm] ilya_shaikovsky: what about the list of TODO's we planned to review at some point

[10:26pm] ilya_shaikovsky: long term for final docs?

[10:26pm] balunasj: TODO those we touched on in last meeting

    [10:27pm] balunasj: but basically

[10:27pm] balunasj: CDK is low pirority for now

[10:27pm] balunasj: Migration guide is "migrating" to wiki

[10:27pm] balunasj: Component guide is in good shape ( but will add some skinning details for each component )

[10:27pm] balunasj: Dev guide needs a review, and will have a more detailed skinning section.

[10:28pm] ilya_shaikovsky: balunasj, so skinning returns to the component reference and will be described at per-component level

[10:29pm] serogers: We can do both if necessary and have it duplicated... not sure if that is preferable

[10:29pm] balunasj: ilya_shaikovsky: this is what serogers was thinking.  I was thinking easier to have in one spot ( like dev guide ), but serogers convinced me that any component specific items should likely be in component guide.

[10:29pm] balunasj: the only issue I have with both - is maintaining it

[10:29pm] ilya_shaikovsky: I also was for that way in the past

[10:29pm] serogers: balunasj: it can include a single section in both, so only updating one xml file

[10:29pm] ilya_shaikovsky: it was convinient as I believe (at least while looking to cases and searching for concrete info)

[10:30pm] ilya_shaikovsky: b.t.w. anything about our generated docs?

[10:31pm] balunasj: ilya_shaikovsky: it is still a todo, but not time yet.  I have a note to make it a critical issue for M5

[10:32pm] balunasj: There is still a jira there as well.  I think having api, tld, and js docs online will be important.

    [10:32pm] ilya_shaikovsky: ok sounds good

[10:34pm] balunasj: anything else for now?

[10:34pm] serogers: Nothing more from me

[10:35pm] balunasj: ok guys - ilya_shaikovsky thanks for coming in - feel better, and we'll talk next week

[10:36pm] balunasj: serogers: thanks for the second meeting

[10:36pm] balunasj: nbelaevski: we'll talk later I'm sure
