about development tools

I would like to know is there any Graphic development tools such as VisualAge, Sun One which can download freely to write EJB?

Oracle's jdeveloper is very cool, very advanced, specially for developing enterprise applications. The newest version is quite nice, a bit like JBuilder (the engine comes from Borland I think). it's free for noncommercial use as I know.

Try Eclipse. It does not have built-in EJB support, but you can use Lomboz plugin for it. There is also a plugin for integrating xdoclet into eclipse.
