Does CMP 2.0 only support local interface?

I am confused by whether the CMP 2.0 only support local interface or just CMR?

CMP 2.0 supports both local and remote interfaces.

Maybe I should have been more clear.

If you are using CMR you can only use that between beans using their local interface. But CMP beans can have both local and remote interfaces, it just that CMR only works with the local interface.
