adrian.brock Jul 3, 2003 3:08 AM (in response to simon555)The XML file claims to be UTF-8, but the xml parser
disagrees.

vgvim Sep 16, 2003 8:35 AM (in response to simon555)Hi,
I exactly get the same exception when I deploy my test.jar.
My ejb-jar.xml and jboss.xml are perfect or atleast looks exactly the same as the working ones. But I don't know why I get this exception suddenly.
There's no other xml parser in the classpath like xerces or anything..
Kindly direct me.
Thanks -

interface Oct 30, 2003 1:35 PM (in response to simon555)I had the same problem. It was a charakter like ä in
the class comment. The first sentence of it was used by the Lomboz-Plugin to generate a comment for the description of my entity-bean in the ejb-jar. Now I explain the functionality of classes without using special german characters. -

frito Oct 31, 2003 3:50 AM (in response to simon555)Avoid funny german umlauts or other non UTF-8 conform characters or use another encoding for your xml like ISO-8859-1 or ISO-8859-15.
