1. Re: no ejb-link match, use jndi-name in jboss-web.xml
adrian.brock Jul 22, 2003 7:00 PM (in response to newmand)jboss-web.xml
does not have <enterprise-beans> elements.
<ejb-link> only works in the same deployment.
Look at the dtd in docs/dtd

2. Re: no ejb-link match, use jndi-name in jboss-web.xml
newmand Jul 23, 2003 12:54 PM (in response to newmand)Thanks. I made the corrections, and it now deploys.
However, I am getting the following problem when I attempt to fetch the home interface via jndi:
javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: env not bound
I also found this error in the log:
[org.jboss.ejb.plugins.local.BaseLocalProxyFactory] XXXAdapter cannot be Bound, doesn't have local and local home interfaces
If this is the root cause, why does it expect me to define local interfaces? I instead want to access the EJBean in a jar that is separate from the jar my servlet is in. I was not planning to use local interfaces.
Are these two separate problems?
Thanks,
David -

I finally got it working.
Thanks for the help.
