STATEFUL EJB REMOVED

Hi, can anyone tell me if there is a way to know if a stateful ejb instance was removed (not serialized ) from the client side??

Handle handle = myRemote.getHandle();
handle.getEJBObject();

the getEJBObject() will throw an exception if the bean
has been removed.
