Finding a Connection Pool with a servlet... no ejb's

Hi All,

I have setup a connection pool in the jboss.jcml file and it is connecting to my db ok but how do I access the pool from a servlet? I'm not using any EJB's and just need to get to the pool from the sevlet.

Any ideas?

You need to put a resource-ref declaration in your web.xml, and map it to the pool with a res-ref in jboss-web.xml. These work pretty much the same as the corresponding ejb-jar.xml equivalents, except that they should be at the 'top' level (right in the web-app element, that is)
