JBoss, Jetty, Velocity and WAR file

Hi,

Has anyone been using JBoss 2.4.4 with Jetty and have their web application web page using Apache Velocity? I am having problem getting the web application to work using WAR file. But it works fine if it is a directory instead of WAR file. Any enlightenment on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

have you got Jetty's UnpackWars flag set to true or false (in jboss.jcml - I think) ?

I am aware of a couple of problems running packed, so you should probably set this to true for Velocity.

Pull down the latest release:

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/jboss/JBoss-2.4.4_Jetty-3.1.7-1.zip

Run your webapp in it and send the stacktrace with a description of the problem to [e-mail]

We will see what we can do.
