JBoss3.0+Catalina unarchive war files

Hi, everyone. I need to unpack my war application on the HD, so that i can read/write files there. How do you think this is possible?

I think with catalina you only can have your application in an ear file. With older tomcat versions you can have it unarchive

nah, if you have say foo.war, then unzip it into
jboss/deploy into the directory foo.war (that is a directory named foo.war).
You can now access the exploded war at localhost:8080/foo etc..
