Jboss Struts upload image problem.

Hi all.
i need to get the image files from the user... upload it on the server and display the images back as part of the html page....

now the images are getting uploaded but it is uploaded in the dir.
"C:\JBoss-2.4.1_Tomcat-3.2.3\jboss\tmp\deploy\Default\app.ear\web1001"

its working fine .... but the problem is that once i shutdown the server ... all the data in this dir is delete on its own.......
.....

is this normal....
am i doing something wrong....

well, it is correct that this directory will be deleted. What your better off doing is finding a different directory to upload to. Are you having hassles doing this?

i can upload the image to anyother dir but... then when i am creating HTML pages on fly.. how do i include the images.....

lets say i upload the images to
"C:\JBoss-2.4.1_Tomcat-3.2.3\jboss\upload\"
and the image file is "top.jpg"

now that should be the value in the src="...." of the img tag in the HTMl file.
