deploying a war

Hey all,

i want to set up JBoss as a httpserver, but i can't deploy a war. Where do I place the war file? What should i do...

You have to copy it to the following directory:
JBOSS_HOME/server/default/deploy

If the server`s already running look at the output console and you can see the deployment of your war-file.

If everything`s ok, you have to open your browser at:
http://localhost:8080/name_of_your_war/

Now you can see your JSP-files perhaps.
If you have coded a servlet, you have to got tu URL:
http://localhost:8080/name_of_your_war/servletname

where servletname is the servlet-mapping-entry in your web.xml-file.
