Web.xml or Application.xml settings for website in jboss

Hi,

I was using jboss3.0.6 and had a website installed using jboss...

I upgraded to jboss3.2.1 and the settings are not working correctly.

i.e.

to go to my webpage i used to type "http://quant/quant"

now i have to type "http://quant:8080/quant" to get to the same page.

any clues as to what settings need to be made to automatically point to port 8080 for quant.

your help would be appriciated.

By default for http the web browser will try to connect to port 80 unless you specify something different.

When you were running JBoss 3.0.6 did you or anyone else change the listener port for the servlet container to listen on port 80?

Anyway that is the change that needs to be made to get the same behaviour that you had before.

you can change the port in
E:\jboss-3.2.1_tomcat-4.1.24\server\default\deploy\jbossweb-tomcat.sar\META-INF\jboss-service.xml
open it,then you can find this.

then you kown how to do it.
