How to deploy a WAR file !

Hi,

i have a war file to deploy, everything is fine if i deploy it under Apache Tomcat, but when i put it under the directory deploy of JBoss something goes wrong:

- The war file is deployed !

- The home page of the application is displayed

- When i cal a servlet i get the error that the servlet is not available.

Where did i make the mistake ?

What exceptions are you seeing (Possibly in JBoss console)?

What does your web.xml look like?

What URL are you trying to connect to?

JBoss / JDK version?

Hi,

the declaration of the servlet in my web.xml look like this :

<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>UploadPref</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/UploadPref</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>

from my browser i call the servlet in this way:

http://localhost:8080/test/servlet/UploadPref

The error i got is about that the servlet is not found.
What do i have to set up in JBoss ?
