jsp jstl problem

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to run the hello1 jsp example application that comes with the javaee tutorial. I war up the directory and I get the following error in JBoss-4.0.4.GA when I run it. Any help would be appreciated!

Shouldn't this work out of the box? Here's the hello1.jsp code:

You need to supply the JSTL jar files in the WEB-INF/lib directory of your war file. I always supply standard.jar and jstl.jar.

Where are those files?

I found jstl.jar in:

$JBOSS_HOME\server\default\deploy\jbossweb-tomcat55.sar\jsf-libs

Is it the one that I need to include?

I cannot find the standard.jar anywhere.

standard.jar is the standard tag library jar file that you can download from Apache at http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=90933.

Or, if you are using Maven 2, add this to your pom.xml:

<dependency> <groupId>taglibs</groupId> <artifactId>standard</artifactId> <version>1.1.2</version> <scope>compile</scope> </dependency>

I did not know I had to download them from somewhere else (they are not required on the Sun's default implementation)

I am not sure what I was suppose to look at your link, but I downloaded them from Apache's site:
