Other way to specify java.security.auth.login.config???

Hi,

i want to call a JAAS secured EJB from an applet. In this
context it is not suitable to specify
-D java.security.auth.login.config=/mypath/auth.conf
from the command line. Also it is not allowed t set it
programmatically as a System.property.

Is there any other way to specify this property
programmatically?

Hi,

I did this in one swing app, perhaps you can implement this in your applet using the correct URL to get the needed file :
...
System.setProperty("java.security.auth.login.config",
"File://" + System.getProperty("user.dir") + "/conf/auth.conf" );
...
