how to specify application policy to use?

I have defined a new application policy in login config.xml. How do I now tell the the security system to use this application policy as the default? I can't find how this is done anywhere in the docs I have read.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

To be the default, it has to be called "other". Otherwise, it has to have the name of the security domain defined at jboss.xml.

Both jboss-web.xml and jboss.xml allows you to specify the following element:

<security-domain>java:/jaas/yourPolicyName</security-domain>


However, I believe with web security it is better to use the realm name element of web.xml:

<realm-name>yourPolicyName</realm-name>
