SonicMQ 3.5 and JBoss 2.4

Hi everybody,

Since 2 weeks, i'm trying to connect a MDB (as subscriber) with a SonicMQ 3.5 Broker. Since today with no success!
I wrote a Adapter according to src.org.jboss.jms.jndi and added a mbean to the jboss.jcml. I have no error on startup. But when i try to deploy my MDB, i get either a NullPointerException (Serious error in init) or a ClassCastException. I'm not quite sure if i'm placing the right parameters in my deployment descriptor (ejb-jar.xml/jboss.xml).

Has someone experience about that or/and can help me?!?

This combination is not known to work. It is considered advanced stuff to integrate a new provider. If you can do it, please tell us about it.

Are there any other combinations, which have been integrated except from JBossMQ? e.g. iBus, MQseries...

There has been reports on other combinations working, ibm MQ series,Swift I think. But no one has reported it back how they did it.

But look into the archives.

I got JBoss running with SonicMQ!! (It was a hardpiece :))

I will keep up with information as soon as I have organized myself...

I have two modes setup; one with XA and one without! Now I'm getting a odd message and a shortcut which i do not know what it means:

"It will not be able to participate in a Global UOW" I know that it has to do with non-xa but what does it mean precisely? What is UOW?

It means your MDB is not XA transacted, but I guess you knew that already.

i try the same for the last week with no success. what have you done to get jboss working with sonic mq? do you have any hints for me?
