I would suggest you look at using the rolling-file
persistence manager. On Solaris's filesystem, creating and deleting files is very slow. If you have any questions about setting it up, let me know. The version checked into the 3.0 doesn't work without modifications.

I noticed that you posted a patch for fixing the rollinglogged PersistenceManager.

Is this all that is requirec?

When will they actually put this into the tree?
