Although the javax.jms interfaces have been updated to JMS 1.1 in CVS, the distributed version in 3.2 has an older version which conforms only to the JMS 1.0.2 definition. -

specifies jms1.0
Including jms1.1 in jboss3 could expose people
to porting problems to other j2ee1.3 implementations,
if they used the new interfaces.
