Transaction Semantics?

With an application using a message driven bean we seem to be getting loads of

'2003-04-27 19:21:18,568 WARN [org.jboss.resource.connectionmanager.LocalTxConnectionManager$LocalConnectionEventListener] prepare called on a local tx. You are not getting the semantics you expect!'

messages.

Any clues what it could be?

You are probably using a non-XA database.
connection. A local transaction can fail while the
jms branch commits.
