2. Re: Persistent Message Queues
trugbild May 7, 2003 2:14 AM (in response to trugbild)Thanks for your answer...
but I do not want an example to create a queue. I only need to know if it is possible to create a persistent queue dynamically. Or is this queue from the other thread persistent? -

trugbild May 7, 2003 4:11 AM (in response to trugbild)I don't know what happend... I've already written an answer - but it doesn't appear... Maybe it's our proxy...
so I'm sorry if there are 2 responds with the same content...
warjort: I only need to know if it is possible to create persistent queues dynamically... It seems to me like the other topic is about creating queues dynamically - but without persistence! -

5. Re: Persistent Message Queues
adrian.brock May 7, 2003 7:43 AM (in response to trugbild)Do you mean durable subscriptions?
Persistence is a property of the message.
Durability is a property of the subscription.
Neither is a property of the topic.
Topics can be dynamically created using a similar
technique to queues.

6. Re: Persistent Message Queues
trugbild May 7, 2003 8:09 AM (in response to trugbild)I try to be a bit more concrete:
Can I dynamically create Queues - which holds the not-yet-committed messages - even if the server's going down - and commit them as soon as the sevrer is running and the receiver is available again.
