I am getting the following exception while trying to retrieve a message from a durable topic : javax.jms.JMSSecurityException: Connection not authorized to do durable subscription on topic: testDurableTopic

I tried creating the connection as user guest/guest or durpublisher/durpublisher

you need to use a pair of id and password to get into it. read the toturial on durable topics.
