Message consumer clossing due to error in listening thread

Hi all,
I am using Jboss 2.4.10 in my project.
I am getting org.jboss.mq.SpyJMSException: Cannot acknowledge a message

at org.jboss.mq.Connection.send(Connection.java:538)

Can any one help me to solve this.
