Connecting MDB to topics registered under Pramati applicatio

I'm interested to know if it is possible to deploy a MDB (message driven bean) in JBOSS that is listening to a topic that has been created under pramati application server.

Reading around the web I found that I should implement the interface JMSProviderAdapter. Do I really have to do that or there is a work around based on some sort of file configuration?
If I have to implement JMSProvideAdapter where can I find documentation concerning this activity?

I'm using JBOSS 3.0.4. Do I have to upgrade to a later version?

The simplist mechanism is to bind Pramati's connection factories and queues
into JBoss's JNDI using the ExternalContextMBean
