Sure? A synchronous call? How could this be done?
You can fire messages from session beans to queue/topics a mdb is listening on... -

With jboss-4.0.x and jca 1.5 you could write an inflow adaptor that actually did allow for either synchronous or asynchronous calls to a message driven bean using any interface you want. -

Is it possible to return the data from invoked the Message driven bean to calling point ?
