my question is : can i send an email to an yahoo or hortmail account.
if yes, how can i do it ?

First things first, please do not cross post between multiple forums. It does not get your question answered faster.

Now, having said that, there is nothing special about sending email in an J2EE/EE application. The JavaMail tutorial provided by Sun provides an excellent starting point. The only real difference between a non EE application is in aquiring a Mail Session.

one other question, i know that with JMS we can send and receive messages
i would to know what is the sender and what is the receiver in this case
