reRender t:dataTable problem

Hi all,

I have two different list which are to show in two different dataTable.
Initially, the a4j:poll will call the backend bean to get these two list.
If the first list success get and the second list throw an exception, the reRender seems like doesn't work on t:dataTable. But i try it with t:outputText, the text will show up. any idea on this ? thanks...

Are you using a value binding on the table?
This was why it was not working for me.
If you can do without the sortable columns, use a rich:dataTable.
