2. Re: How to use MBeanServerFactory to get MBeanServer
qwang Mar 22, 2002 6:47 AM (in response to qwang)I am trying to access a service by calling a MBean, e.g. to have a client to call a serivce method of a MBean in JBoss. I need to find the MBean first.
Thank you for replying. -

4. Re: How to use MBeanServerFactory to get MBeanServer
qwang Mar 22, 2002 6:57 AM (in response to qwang)Is there other way apart from using RMIAdaptor?
If I use MBeanServerFactory.findMBeanServer(java.lang.String AgentId), how do I get AgentID of the server that I want and where to get it? -
5. Re: How to use MBeanServerFactory to get MBeanServer
adrian.brock Mar 22, 2002 7:08 AM (in response to qwang)Pass "null" and use the first MBeanServer. JBoss has
only one.
This won't work from a client. findMBeanServer only
works in the same VM/classloader.

6. Re: How to use MBeanServerFactory to get MBeanServer
qwang Mar 22, 2002 7:28 AM (in response to qwang)Is MBeanServer JNDI registered in JBoss, so I could use JNDI lookup to get the MBeanServer?
