How to use shutdown script with secured jmx-console?

Hi,

I'm running JBoss/Tomcat on port 80 and I've secured the JMX Console web application. Now I'd like to be able to shutdown JBoss using the shutdown script.

Calling "./shutdown.sh localhost 80" does not work. I guess that's because the web app is secured. Is there a way to specify the username/password when running the shutdown script?

You will need to update to 3.0.6

Update the command to support:[host [port]] [-u username] [-p password] [-c shutdown_command]
so that a username and password may be used with a secured html adaptor

Thanks! I'll try to upgrade. I guess I should have pointed out that I was running JBoss 3.0.4/Tomcat 4.1.12.
