CompositeType or TabularType in jboss-service.xml?

Hi,

is there a way to specifiy MBean attribute values of type javax.management.openmbean.CompositeType or TabularType within a mbean declaration element in the jboss-service.xml file?

Describing your property using a tabular format or composite format seems to be a missing feature of JBoss's service deployer.

You can use this, obviously:

Better would be a format such as this:

<attribute name="xadf" serialDataFormat="OpenType">
 <array><value>1</value><value>2</value></array>
<!-- or -->
 <tabular> ... </tabular>
</attribute>

JBoss could figure out the specific OpenType, obviously.

If you want to add your own code for this, look for org.jboss.system.metadata.ServiceMetaDataParser in source control.
