1. Re: New JBoss! How can attach tomcat with JBoss 2.4x
adrian.brock Jan 28, 2002 6:41 AM (in response to raajee)Have you tried run_with_catilina.bat or run_with_catilina.sh?
This uses the configuration from
JBOSS_HOME/conf/catalina - running with Tomcat embedded
instead of JBOSS_HOME/conf/default - no Tomcat

raajee Jan 29, 2002 1:30 AM (in response to raajee)Thanx Adrian,
But i dont find any batch files you have mentioned under
JBOSS_HOME\conf.
Only batch file what i have is run.bat and run.sh under
JBoss_HOME\bin
Is there any problem with JBoss 2.4.4?
As i dont even find whatever the class they are mentioning
in JBoss2.4x.pdf documentation
i.e org.jboss.tomcat.EmbeddedTomcatServiceSX

adrian.brock Jan 29, 2002 5:26 AM (in response to raajee)If you want to run embedded tomcat,
Try downloading JBoss-Tomcat from
You'll get the extra configuration and batch files.

sjus00 Jan 29, 2002 10:17 AM (in response to raajee)maybe you took
jboss/bin/run.sh (or run.bat)
but with embedded tomcat there is:
jboss/bin/run_with_tomcat.bat (run_with_tomcat.sh)
(these batch takes the configuration from jboss/conf/tomcat - so there you have to configure anything...)
hope it helps!
