Uhmm, It's the one in the FAQ forum that has the "500 MAPPING error" in the title - the very same as the first line of the error. Searching with this forum's search capabilities with that error line would bring up all the different times this question has been asked an ansered by both Adrian and myself. Adrian's FAQ on the topic has been around for 6 weeks. Now, did you try to search or look in the faq, or do you just want someone to show you?
Please pardon my frustration. I don't speak for Adrian (since I don't know him except from here) but I like reading this board to help people and to get help. But it does get tiresome to answer the same question, which is clearly posted in the faq, at least once per day.
I guess what I'm trying to say is for people to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE read the faq and try searching for the answer before they post.
Before I read this and answered, the post immediately above it and three below it, all posted today, ASKED THE SAME QUESTION!!!! (And Adrian was kind enough to answer, though I notice that his answers are getting shorter and shorter...)
Again, sorry for being frustrated but I am.
Mike

uniq2001 Feb 20, 2002 10:38 PM (in response to dennisfeng)Hi Mike,
Sorry for making you frustrate on this problem.
I have tried to search through several sites for solving the problem since I can't make it done by following the FAQ "Error 500...." in JBOSS 2 weeks ago which is the closest solution to my problem.
I have combined the solution with the other's problems I found in JBoss, the serverside, and jboss-user milist which is closer to mine, and didn't work out.
I really frustrate in making my Jboss 2.44 Tomcat 4.0 run on my NT server and I'm behind my project schedule, which encourage me to raise it in this forum.
Any suggestion that can help me in setting up the system is highly appriciate.
Regards

7. Re: get NullPointException when try to hit embedded Catalina
adrian.brock Feb 21, 2002 4:55 AM (in response to dennisfeng)The text file deploy.txt is informational. :-)
You need to put the file desy.war in jboss\deploy
If you want to deploy from somewhere else,
search the forums for AutoDeployer.
