Configuring a webapp in a directory outside of JBoss/Jetty

I'd like to configure JBoss & Jetty to have a webapp in another directory (I don't want to put my project in the JBoss hiearchy). Is this possible? What files must be configured?

Actually if I could do this with Tomcat or Jetty I'd be happy.

Find the section about the MBean URLDeploymentScanner in the conf/jboss-service.xml file.

It looks fairly well documented and it should be possible to do what you want to do.

The simplest way might be to just change:


./deploy


To

./deploy, /my/local/app/dir


Where /my/local/app/dir contains the webapps you want to deploy.
