How to shutdown the jboss correctly with Apache+jboss

I install the Apache+jboss .
but I can't shutdown the jboss with the shutdown.bat
Could anybody tell me how to shutdown the jboss correctly?

there's a shutdown hook for CTRL+C which is also a clean shutdown
