casanova Feb 27, 2003 4:20 PM (in response to tintin)By default the Tomcat applications are disfunctional. I don't know why, and I would like to work out how to get them going - Tomcat has some good tools for redeploying web apps etc and it's a shame not to be able to use them.
When you install Tomcat on it's own, you enter the url "http://localhost:8080" and up comes Tomcat's default web app. But, install JBoss/Tomcat, and it is not installed. Why? -

jbanwo Oct 20, 2003 6:39 AM (in response to tintin)jboss has no default website context hence the reason you get this message.
To establish if the installation is working okay, try administration console which is shown above
http://localhost:8080/jmx-console -
9. Re: Installing jboss-3.0.4_tomcat-4.1.12: HTTP Status 500 -
totopo Oct 21, 2003 6:30 AM (in response to tintin)would like to know how to redirect the default page that gives a horrible error 500 to my application, for example:
http://localhost:8080 <<<< this generates the error 500 (People from Jboss why did you do this?) to redirect to
http://localhost:8080/MyApplication
or how to configure jboss to go directly to MyApplication??
Thanks and Regards
