If your app is a servlet, set load-on-startup to e.g. 1 and print Hello in init();
If your app is EJB app, then write a servlet that has load-on-startup on 1 and which calls your ejbs from its init method. -

nickman Feb 24, 2004 8:09 AM (in response to jfnormand1)You can create an MBean that behaves like a client. Set the ejb deployment as a dependency so the MBean does not fire off too early.

Do you mean to manage it as a dependency or just in general ? Have you looked at the getting started docs ?
