Start an application after the startup

Hi,

There is any ways to start an application(ejb) just after the container start ?

Well, that is normal behaviour when your app is located in the deploy/ folder.

Right now, the applications is executed only when i use an external client, right now i want to output "Hello" is the standard output at the startup of the application.

Why didn't you tell? :-)

If your app is a servlet, set load-on-startup to e.g. 1 and print Hello in init();

If your app is EJB app, then write a servlet that has load-on-startup on 1 and which calls your ejbs from its init method.

You can create an MBean that behaves like a client. Set the ejb deployment as a dependency so the MBean does not fire off too early.

Do you mean to manage it as a dependency or just in general ? Have you looked at the getting started docs ?
