1. Re: Is JBOSS 3.2.3 supported on JDK 1.5 (beta)
scs Mar 3, 2004 12:02 AM (in response to vijpan)That's caused by JDK 1.5 bundling JMX implementation and that's overriding JBoss' own.
You can try to remove javax/management from rt.jar. That will allow you to boot jboss.
I was able to start jboss after that but then faced another problem when I try to open jmx-console. At the moment I just reverted back to JDK 1.4.2. -

lindner Mar 29, 2004 12:15 PM (in response to vijpan)Did you make any success? The new release 3.2.4 RC1 is Compatible to the JMX implementation in Java 1.5 but still does not work.

xtidylan Oct 20, 2004 9:01 AM (in response to vijpan)Hi, I was wondering if this problem was already resolved? I'm using JBoss 3.2.3 with JDK 1.4.2, I tried JDK 1.5 Final, but it doesn't seem to work.
Or should I get a newer version of JBoss instead? -
