How to define user under whick JBoss will run?

Where I define user? etc/profile? And in unix, how can I get JBoss run under 'jboss' instead of root, I mean like [jboss@server bin] and not [root@server bin]?

Run jboss under any user other than root. If you have an id on the OS, then log in as you and bring up an instance. Thats all you need to do.
