rich:calendar label attribute missing

Hello
I have a ploblem with rich:calendar. its required field and i want to display a validation message when field is empty. Everything works fine except that i cant pass label attribute to rich:calendar. So instead of message like 'label of calendar': value is required. I have 'id of calendar component': value is required. Using RF 3.1.4-SNAPSHOT myfaces 1.2.0
