Session Expiring

Hi
I kept session time out as 240 in web.xml ( 4 hrs) . But afer keeping idle for 1 hr , still the session is expiring.

And in back end we are getting expection as

"Could not activate , failed to resote state"

Is it because of not settig at Container level which is available in weblogic.

Pls provide me a solution ASAP

Are you making use of Statefull Session beans? Can you post the full exception and associated stack trace.

This error can even appear when the session couldn't be passivated properly. Activation will fail afterwards. Did you check this?
