darranl Feb 7, 2005 8:07 AM (in response to kumaran5)Web browsers by default will connect to port 80 for http and port 443 for https, if you are going to move the port to a different number the web browser needs to be told this which is why you must specify :90 in the URL.

I am running one instance of JBoss with the port number 80 and I need to run another instance of JBoss so I chosen 90 for http port. Please advice me how can I avoid port number 90 in URL of my second instance.

$JBOSS_HOME/server/default/deploy/jbossweb-tomcat50.sar/server.xml
Find:
<Connector port=8080
edit it to 90
