peterj Jul 13, 2006 3:22 PM (in response to saravanag)Say you have a myapp.war file containing the files index.jsp and WEB-INF/web.xml. You can create a directory named ./server/default/deploy.war, and into that directory place the file index.jsp. Also create the directory ./server/default/deploy.war/WEB-INF and place the web.xml file into that directory.
I know I answered this is some earlier post but I could not find it.
Also see http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=DeployTipsAndBuildSampleScripts for further information. -

4. Re: Jboss Context
saravanag Jul 13, 2006 5:28 PM (in response to saravanag)Hi,
Can I place my application folder outside JBoss and give a context to it?
This can be done in Tomcat by setting up context path in server.xml
For Ex:
while the server will be in /appl/tomcat/..
Can anyone help me how to do this in Jboss?
Should all application be deployed under /default/deploy only ?
Thanks in Advance
