alex.pinkin Sep 9, 2006 11:00 AM (in response to perrucci)Paolo,
Yes installer will only be updated for the GA/SP releases of the app server.
You have a couple of options:
1. Install EJB3 manually on top of 4.0.5.CR1
2. Build latest 4.0.5.CR1-compatible installersvn co https://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/installer/jems-installer/trunk ant
I suggest 2nd option. It only takes a few minutes. -

perrucci Sep 10, 2006 10:12 AM (in response to perrucci)Thank you Alex,
I'm trying to build the latest version but the svn url doens't work.
I found the same url here http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=JEMSInstaller so I think there is a problem on svn.
Can you confirm the problem?
Thank you

4. Re: Installer for 4.0.5.CR1
perrucci Sep 11, 2006 5:24 AM (in response to perrucci)Ok, I checked out the trunk and compiled succesfully the project.
One last question: jboss 4.0.5.cr1 should include jbossws 1.0.3 but using the installer just created I see the 1.0.0 jbossws version.
Is this the expected behaviour?

5. Re: Installer for 4.0.5.CR1
peterj Sep 11, 2006 10:57 AM (in response to perrucci)There is another option. I am running EJB3 with 4.0.5 without using the installer. I downloaded the source, compiled with JDK 1.5.0_06, and got both the standard JBoss binary, and an EJB3 version of the binary.

alex.pinkin Sep 11, 2006 11:43 AM (in response to perrucci)Paolo,
if you set jbossws.version=1.0.3.GA in version.properties, installer will pick up WS 1.0.3.GA. This has just been checked in, so you can just update, delete output\unzip-marker and re-build installer.
