Is it possible to develop an application using JBOSS in devlopment phase and deploy it in Websphere? I want to know what are the issues that arises and what are the changes that needs to be made to code and configuration.

I don't need the details but probably pointers in that directions would be enough.

Well, it really depends on what you're deploying.

Assuming you're using plain EJBs and Servlets, for example, the deployment should theoretically work for either server.

There are differences when it comes to creating resources (such as database connections).
