Does any java based application run on Zlinux?

hi,

yes. we are running jboss on both, x86 and z-series (within zVM linux-guests) in test and production environment.
only limitation is the JVM - you have to use the IBM-JVM for Z on zLinux if you do not find a zLinux port of an other JVM. :)
