1. Re: Can Exists Jboss and Adicional Tomcat Server in the same
jaikiran Jun 13, 2008 11:59 AM (in response to subemontes)As long as you take care of having different ports for JBoss and the tomcat (to avoid the ports conflict), you can have them both running on the same system.

3. Re: Can Exists Jboss and Adicional Tomcat Server in the same
gaijinco Jun 17, 2008 1:19 PM (in response to subemontes)I have a somewhat different issue:
I was using a Tomcat server.
I want to install JBoss to be my default all-in-one server. Should I uninstall Tomcat? I heard something about JBoss using Tomcat anyway, is there a way to link the two?
Thanks. -

You need not "uninstall" tomcat. If you are not going to use it, you can stop/shutdown the tomcat services.I heard something about JBoss using Tomcat anyway
JBoss comes shipped with Tomcat. The latest version of JBoss (4.2.x) comes with JBoss WebServer which is based on Tomcat.
