Clustering on 3.0.4

Hi,

I tried renaming "DefaultPartition" to "MyPartition" in cluster-service.xml on Jboss3.0.4. But when i start JBoss after that sessionmanager does not start up properly. Is there any other file that i need to edit to change the "DefaultPartion" name??

why 3.0.6. Do you imply that clustering does not work properly with 3.0.4.

I am currently evaluate 3.0.4 and we need to use clustering so if 3.0.4 does not work with cluster and we need to go to 3.0.6, I would like to eval 3.0.6 now instead of 3.0.4.

please verify and explain and thank you for your help.

Clustering works GREAT on 3.0.4. I was trying to isolate my clusters on a network of 3.0.4 boxes. I had issues with that. But by using different multicast address that problem is resolved. Thanks for the help Sacha.

3.0.4 is fine. Simply read this first:

http://www.jboss.org/modules/bb/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=forums/ for your problem, there is a current small limitation that prevents you to change the partition name if you are using the tomcat http session replication. If you don't need it, simply remove jbossha-httpsession.sar from deploy and you are fine.
