Loadbalancing issue

What is the best way to acheive load balancing on JBoss.
I am aware about 2 ways :

1) using loadbalancer.sar ---- I tried out this but i am facing problem when my application redirects.

2) apache mod_jk ---- can u please let me know how to go about this.

Also if any better way is there?

loadbalancer.sar is unsupported and has been dropped as of 4.0.4.GA so its not a viable option.

Your 3rd option is to use a hardware load balancer.
